I'm finally finding a few minutes here and there to begin painting again. I've switched from realistic pastel plein air painting to abstract oils. I've tried acrylics and like the idea of their quick drying time but I just can't manipulate the paint the same way as oils.

I've been noticing on some of the blogs that others are beginning to experiment in oils and other media. I love the vibrancy in this piece. What beautiful color!
